UPPAbaby VISTA V2 (2020) Review

UPPAbaby VISTA V2 (2020)

Hi, I’m Amy, owner of Strolleria. In this video, we’ll compare the 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 with the 2019 VISTA. The 2020 version is coming to strolleria.com in February, 2020. If you have questions, email us at customercare@strolleria.com or leave a comment below.

The UPPAbaby VISTA gets a little easier to use and a little more stylish every year. For 2020, the stroller has a new name, the VISTA V2, and it has several redesigned features like a larger toddler seat, a new sun canopy, upgraded wheels and new colors. But the V2 model still has all the same great features and functionality of the 2019 model and there are no changes to the stroller’s weight, dimensions, configurations, or fold.

The starting price is increasing from 899 to 929. For a detailed look at what’s new for 2020, watch our review on the UPPAbaby VISTA V2. Now let’s take a look at the differences.

Your child will have more room in the VISTA V2. The back of the toddler seat is now an inch higher and the footrest is a half-inch deeper. The canopy of the VISTA V2 slides up to create more space for a growing toddler. The weight capacity has not changed. The upper toddler seat holds 50 pounds and the lower rumble seat holds 35 pounds. New for 2020, both seats are now no rethread, so you can simply slide the harness up and down for easier height adjustments. The 2019 VISTA harness requires more time and effort for adjustments, as you’ll need to detach and rethread the harness through its slots.

The V2 has a redesigned canopy with additional fabric that zips out for a peekaboo window and complete sun coverage. You can open a second flap at the front of the canopy for even more ventilation. By comparison, the 2019 VISTA has a silver sunshade that can be pulled out of the canopy for additional coverage. It also has one ventilated window instead of two, and you’ll need to roll and secure a fabric flap to open the window. Also new for 2020, the canopy has a small leather tab with the UPPAbaby logo, while most of the 2019 colors have the logo in large lettering. The 2020 stroller also has a streamlined basket with spring action and a new storage pocket.

The VISTA V2 has softer wheels and improved suspension for an even smoother ride. For 2020, the stroller has new spring action suspension built into the frame to soften bumps in the road. Both the 2020 and 2019 strollers have suspension in all four wheels, but only the 2020 has suspension in the frame.

The 2020 VISTA comes in four new colors, Alice Dusty Pink with saddle leather, Finn Deep Sea with chestnut leather, Hazel Olive Green with saddle leather, and Sierra Dune Knit with black leather. These colors from last year are continuing for 2020 with the new features. Bryce White Marl with chestnut leather, Emmett Green Melange with saddle leather, Gregory Blue Melange with saddle leather. Three colors of the VISTA are being discontinued for 2020, so act fast if these are your favorites, Henry Blue Marl, William Chambray Oxford, and Spenser Tartan Plaid.

That’s it for our comparison of the 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 with the 2019 UPPAbaby VISTA. If you have questions about the VISTA or need help finding the stroller that’s right for you, email us at customercare@strolleria.com or leave a comment below. Thanks for watching.
