Silver Cross Coast Stroller Review

Silver Cross Coast Stroller

Hi, I’m Amy, owner of Strolleria and in this video I’ll show you the new Silver Cross Coast Stroller. The Coast will be available in late 2018 from Strolleria.com, where we offer free shipping, no sales tax and registry rewards. If you have questions about the Coast, feel free to email us at customercare@strolleria.com, or leave a comment below.

The Coast is the second single to double stroller from Silver Cross, the British company that made the very first baby carriage in 1877. Silver Cross also makes the Wave, one of the highest quality convertible strollers on the market.

The Coast is a lower-priced, more compact stroller that still looks and feels luxurious, and still expands to a double stroller with the addition of a second seat. Like the Wave, the Coast comes with a bassinet that’s approved for overnight sleeping and it’s compatible with infant car seats from several different brands. The Silver Cross Coast will be available in late 2018 for 999.

The Silver Cross Wave and Coast have a lot in common, like similar configurations and the same weight capacity. But, the Coast is more compact and it costs $300 less than the Wave for a few reasons. The Coast comes with fewer included items. For example, the stroller seat and bassinet share the same canopy and bumper bar for the Coast, while the Wave includes two of everything. Unlike the Wave, the Coast can’t become a double stroller right out of the box using the stroller seat and the bassinet. The Wave includes top-of-the-line finishes, for example, a hand-sewn leather handlebar and quilted bassinet interior. The Coast fabrics are machine-fabricated and less detailed. The Coast is also four pounds lighter and one inch shorter than the Wave, with smaller wheels. Finally, the look of the Coast is a little more edgy compared to the classic elegance of the Wave.

The Coast is available in three colors, all of which include a black frame. The Coast fabrics feature an overprinted texture that gives the stroller a modern artistic look. The colors include Flint, a dark gray, Limestone, a lighter gray and Tundra, an earthy brown.

The Coast offers 17 configurations to meet your needs as your child and your family grow. The seat is reversible so that your baby can face you when they’re younger, and forward when they’re older. The Coast features multiple recline positions and an adjustable handlebar, foot rest, and canopy to keep both baby and parent comfortable. The Coast can be used in numerous configurations as a stroller for a single child, siblings or twins using the main stroller seat, the lower seat, which is called the tandem seat, the bassinet or a car seat. As a double stroller, you can use the Coast with the stroller seats facing either direction or back-to-back, the bassinet in the upper position or two car seats for twins.

To fold the Coast, pull up on the triggers and lower the stroller forward until it automatically locks. To unfold it, simply undo the lock and pull the stroller back into place, stepping on the rear axle if necessary.

Silver Cross Coast can be paired with several infant car seats to create a convenient travel system. The stroller includes a set of car seat adapters that can be used with car seats from Nuna, Maxi-Cozy or Cybex.

That concludes our review of the Silver Cross Coast Stroller. The Coast will be available in late 2018 at Strolleria.com, where we offer free shipping, no sales tax and registry rewards.
