2020 UPPAbaby CRUZ V2

2020 uppababy cruz

In February 2020 the UPPAbaby CRUZ is going bigger on its features and smaller in its fold. The CRUZ V2 two has larger wheels with added suspension and a larger seat for growing toddler, plus it folds smaller than before.

It also has new features like a redesigned canopy, a larger storage basket, and new colors. As in years past, the CRUZ is a single stroller that’s easy to fold, easy to use with a car seat or bassinet, and has great quality with a three year warranty. The price of the 2020 CRUZ is $649 to $679 depending on colors.

Let’s take a look at the new features.

The 2020 CRUZ has larger wheels and improved suspension, which makes the stroller easier to maneuver over uneven terrain like grass, gravel and snow. The CRUZ V2 now has suspension in all four wheels instead of just the front wheels previously, with springs that function independently to provide the smoothest ride.

Good news for parents of tall kids. The 2020 CRUZ has a bigger seat for a growing child. The seat back and the leg rest are two inches longer, and the foot rest is a half inch deeper. The canopy also slides up to create more head space as your child grows. Plus, the seat harness is now no re-thread so you can simply slide the harness up and down for easier height adjustments.

The V2 stroller has a redesigned canopy with additional fabric that zips out for a peekaboo window and complete sun coverage. You can open a second flap at the front of the canopy for even more ventilation. The 2020 CRUZ also has a new basket with a more streamlined design, more storage space up to 30 pounds, and a new pocket. It also has a new foot brake that’s better for wearing sandals.

The 2020 CRUZ comes in four new colors. Alice Dusty Pink with saddle leather, Finn Deep Sea with chestnut leather, Hazel Olive Green with saddle leather, and Sierra Dune Knit with black leather. These colors from last year are continuing for 2020 with the new features. Low equate is changing to Bryce White Marl with chestnut leather, Emmett Green Melange with saddle leather, Gregory Blue Melange with saddle leather, Jordan Charcoal Melange with black leather, and Jake Black with black leather.

The CRUZ V2 has a reversible seat that allows your baby to face you or face forward. You can recline the seat to multiple positions, adjust the handlebar, and adjust the foot rest to add comfort. Add a car seat to create a travel system or attach a bassinet sold separately for a newborn.

The CRUZ V2 is three inches shorter in height when folded, making it easier to carry and store in your trunk. It also has a new lock that’s easier to use and sturdier than before. To fold the stroller, apply the foot brake and lower the handlebar to its lowest position. Pull up on the triggers and pull the frame towards you. Adjust the foot rest for a more compact fold. To open the stroller, simply undo the lock on the side of the frame and lift it back into place.

The CRUZ V2 is compatible with car seats from UPPAbaby and several other brands. The UPPAbaby MESA is the only car seat that doesn’t require car seat adapters. You can attach the MESA directly to the frame of the stroller and remove it by pressing the button on top of the car seat handle. If you purchase carseat adapters, the CRUZ is also compatible with car seats from NUNA, MAXI-COSI, CYBEX, PEG-PEREGO, and CHICCO.
